Story time
On this page i will tell one of my life experiences every so often.
There is something peaceful about getting in the gator and heading in no particular direction.
So this was my friends first cruz on the gator. Me being the professional road tripper, had snacks and beverages packed. Kim seen my cookies and scotcharoo bars and was like how long are we going to be gone, well Kim you just never know. We headed out to the north on this trip. Any type of trail we see is let's see where that goes. This one we went on had a little bit of water to go through. Rode for 1/4 mile or so through the tall grass mud, water, just to come to a dead end. Turn around and head back down the trail. At the beginning of this trail is a farmyard you drive by. We are approaching the beginning of the trail on our way out, when we spotted a golf cart coming out of the farm yard. We drove by and waved. Couple hundred feet down the road i pulled over, It's snack time. I am getting the bars and cookies out when the golf cart was going to pass us. Grama and 2 granddaughters are going for ride. I said you guys want some cookies? So they stopped, and the oldest grand kid takes a cookie. The littlest one was to shy so grandma takes one and gives it to her. We visit for a few cookies later and head on our way. Kim is like, i can't believe you just offered cookies to kids. To me that's the way i was brought up so no big deal to me. In this day and age people are way more cautious. Hey, i figured there's an adult and what better way to meet. Good way to break in a newbie on the gator, that and some of the trails we took. The picture was towards the end of or ride. So peaceful and you get to see more details cruising slow. It's these small moments in time that makes good memories to look back on and smile.
